Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TL-925 is a first-in-class, topical small molecule Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor developed by Telios Pharma for the treatment of dry eye disease (DED) and allergic conjunctivitis. It is formulated as an oil-in-water ophthalmic emulsion containing 0.1% active ingredient. TL-925 works by preventing mast cell activation and degranulation, blocking cytokine-driven inflammatory responses, and restoring lacrimal unit homeostasis—mechanisms that offer potential for disease modification in ocular inflammatory disorders. Clinical studies have shown that TL-925 is safe, well tolerated, and demonstrates rapid onset of efficacy across multiple signs and symptoms of DED relative to vehicle control[1][2][3][4][5][6][8].
