Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TLD-S is a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical developed by InnoMedica for the detection and screening of solid tumors. It consists of a liposomal nanoparticle, approximately 30nm in size, which encapsulates or is labeled with the positron-emitting isotope Zirconium-89 (Zr-89). The drug utilizes InnoMedica's proprietary liposomal nanocarrier technology to achieve passive targeting of tumor tissues via the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect. Once accumulated in the tumor, the Zr-89 radiotracer allows for high-resolution visualization through Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging. TLD-S is intended to assist in tumor identification, staging, and monitoring of treatment response. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
