Overview
TLX300-Px (89Zr-olaratumab) is an investigational radiopharmaceutical imaging agent being developed by Telix Pharmaceuticals for patients with advanced, metastatic soft tissue sarcoma (STS) and other platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRα) positive tumors. The drug is a monoclonal antibody-based radiopharmaceutical that uses olaratumab, an antibody originally licensed from Eli Lilly and Company, radiolabeled with the positron-emitting isotope zirconium-89 (89Zr). It targets PDGFRα, a cell surface protein often over-expressed in soft tissue sarcoma. TLX300-Px is being evaluated in the Phase 1 ZOLAR trial as a diagnostic imaging agent using positron emission tomography (PET), and is intended to be part of a theranostic approach alongside a therapeutic version (TLX300) that would use an alpha-emitting isotope.
