Overview
TMB-001 is an investigational topical ointment formulation of isotretinoin that uses a patented polyethylene glycol (IPEG) delivery system. It was being developed for the treatment of moderate to severe congenital ichthyosis, including X-linked recessive ichthyosis (XRI) and autosomal recessive congenital ichthyosis lamellar ichthyosis (ARCI-LI). The formulation was designed to improve hydration and lubrication of the skin in patients with this rare genetic disorder.
