Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TME031 is a double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) oligonucleotide therapeutic being developed by TME Therapeutics for the treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). It is designed to target and knock down the expression of Carbohydrate Sulfotransferase 3 (CHST3), an enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of chondroitin sulfate. By modulating the sulfation patterns of glycosaminoglycans in the lung extracellular matrix, TME031 aims to address the underlying pathology of COPD. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
