Overview

TME151 is a double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) oligonucleotide therapeutic developed by TME Therapeutics. It utilizes RNA interference (RNAi) to target and knock down the expression of Carbohydrate sulfotransferase 15 (CHST15). CHST15 is an enzyme responsible for the synthesis of chondroitin sulfate E (CS-E), a highly sulfated glycosaminoglycan that accumulates in the tumor microenvironment (TME) and promotes tumor growth, invasion, and immune evasion. By reducing CHST15 levels, TME151 aims to remodel the stroma and enhance the anti-tumor immune response. The drug is currently in Phase 1/2 development for the treatment of unresectable pancreatic cancer.
