TML-ONI-21-I is a preclinical drug candidate being developed by Themis Medicare as a new dosage form of an immunomodulatory agent, likely inosine pranobex. As an injectable formulation (indicated by the 'I' suffix), it is designed to provide an alternative delivery route to the existing oral tablet form. The drug functions as an immunomodulator by enhancing the host's cellular immune response, specifically through the stimulation of T-lymphocyte proliferation and the activation of natural killer (NK) cells and macrophages.
