Overview

**TMN-1** is an orally administered traditional Chinese herbal medicine mixture used in Taiwan as a nonhormonal intervention for menopausal hot flashes. It combines the classical multi-herb formulas Chia-Wei-Hsiao-Yao-San, Chih-Po-Ti-Huang-Wan, and Hsiang-Sha-Liu-Chun-Tzu-Tang. Its molecular targets and pharmacologic mechanism have not been established; it was evaluated in a multicenter prospective observational study sponsored by National Taiwan University Hospital for menopausal hot flashes and climacteric symptoms.
