Overview

TMS-009 is a small molecule inhibitor of soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) currently in the preclinical stage of development by TMS Co., Ltd. Soluble epoxide hydrolase is an enzyme responsible for the metabolic degradation of epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs), which are endogenous lipid mediators known for their anti-inflammatory, vasodilatory, and cardioprotective properties. By inhibiting sEH, TMS-009 aims to stabilize and increase the levels of EETs, potentially providing therapeutic benefits in a variety of conditions including inflammatory, cardiovascular, and metabolic diseases. The specific primary indication for TMS-009 has not yet been disclosed by the developer.
