tMUC1 radiotheranostic is a preclinical-stage radiopharmaceutical program developed by OncoTab for the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer. The agent is based on the TAB004 monoclonal antibody, which specifically recognizes a tumor-associated glycoform of Mucin-1 (tMUC1) that is highly expressed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and other solid tumors but absent in normal tissues. By conjugating TAB004 to various radioisotopes, the platform enables both molecular imaging (e.g., using 64Cu or 89Zr for PET) and targeted radiotherapy (e.g., using 177Lu or 225Ac) to selectively destroy malignant cells while sparing healthy tissue. This theranostic approach allows for the identification of patients who express the target and the subsequent delivery of targeted radiation to those specific tumor sites.
