TMVP1-ICG is an experimental **VEGFR-3-targeted near-infrared fluorescent imaging probe** developed at Tongji Hospital and Huazhong University of Science and Technology for visualization of cervical cancer and tumor-involved lymph nodes. It incorporates the tumor-homing pentapeptide TMVP1, with core sequence LARGR, and indocyanine green. TMVP1 has been reported to bind vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3, also known as FLT4, a receptor associated with tumor lymphangiogenesis and metastatic lymphatic vessels. A ChiCTR study registered TMVP1-ICG, with the scientific title specifying TMVP1-PEG4-ICG, for local cervical injection before cervical-cancer surgery to support lymph-node mapping and lymph-node dissection.
