Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TN-1007 is a small peptide inhibitor developed by TransGenex Nanobiotech that specifically targets cancer stem cells (CSCs). Identified using the company's proprietary Functional in-vivo Stem cell Screening (FiSS) platform, TN-1007 is designed to inhibit signaling pathways that regulate the interactions between tumor cells and the surrounding stroma. By targeting the self-renewal and survival mechanisms of CSCs, which are often resistant to conventional therapies and responsible for tumor recurrence and metastasis, TN-1007 aims to provide a more effective treatment for various cancers. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
