Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TNM009 is a fully native human monoclonal antibody developed by Trinomab Biotech for the treatment of pain, particularly cancer pain. It acts as an anti-nerve growth factor (NGF) antibody, blocking the binding of NGF to its receptor TrkA and thereby inhibiting NGF-mediated pain signaling pathways. This mechanism aims to relieve pain in cancer patients and potentially other types of neuralgia. As a native human antibody, TNM009 is designed to have minimal immunogenicity compared to non-human-derived antibodies. Preclinical studies have shown significant efficacy in relieving cancer pain and chemotherapy-induced neuralgia in animal models, with ongoing Phase 1 clinical trials evaluating safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity in healthy adults[1][2][3].
