TNX-2100 is an intradermal diagnostic skin test developed by Tonix Pharmaceuticals to measure T cell-mediated immunity to SARS-CoV-2. It consists of synthesized peptide antigens representing multiple proteins of the virus, including the spike protein (TNX-2120) and various non-spike proteins (TNX-2130). When administered intradermally, these peptides elicit a delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH) reaction in individuals with pre-existing cellular immunity, serving as a functional biomarker for T cell memory. This diagnostic tool is intended to identify individuals who have developed a cellular immune response following natural infection or vaccination, potentially offering a more durable assessment of immunity than antibody testing alone.
