TO-2060

TO-2060 is an investigational fixed-dose combination product comprising low doses of the atypical antipsychotic olanzapine and the 5‑HT3 receptor antagonist ondansetron, developed by Transcept Pharmaceuticals (formerly TransOral Pharmaceuticals) for the treatment of alcohol dependence and other dopamine-mediated psychiatric disorders.[1] By pairing olanzapine’s ability to modulate dopaminergic transmission with ondansetron’s serotonergic (5‑HT3) antagonism, the therapy aims to improve efficacy and tolerability over existing pharmacologic options for alcohol dependence, which historically demonstrate only modest benefit.[1] TO-2060 remains an early-stage CNS therapeutic concept and detailed clinical data, including optimal dosing, routes of administration, and broader development status, have not been extensively published.
