Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tobicom is an approved ophthalmic nutritional supplement and pharmaceutical combination product developed by Ahn-Gook Pharmaceutical and manufactured/marketed by ICA Biotechnological & Pharmaceutical in Vietnam. It is formulated as an oral capsule containing sodium chondroitin sulfate, retinol palmitate (vitamin A), choline hydrogen tartrate, riboflavin (vitamin B2), and thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1). Tobicom is indicated for eye fatigue, keratitis, ophthalmoplegia, amblyopia during lactation, nyctalopia (night blindness), and as a nutritional supplement for decreased vision. Sodium chondroitin sulfate stabilizes intracellular collagen to support ocular muscle neurons and optic lens flexibility, while the vitamin and choline components support epithelial tissue maintenance and vision.
