Overview
tocopherol + clobetasol propionate + salicylic acid + panthenol is a topical compounded formulation containing a combination of the antioxidant tocopherol (vitamin E), the high-potency corticosteroid clobetasol propionate, the keratolytic agent salicylic acid, and the humectant/emollient panthenol (provitamin B5). This compounded mixture is used topically to treat nail disorders, such as nail dystrophy and discoloration associated with Yellow Nail Syndrome (YNS). Clobetasol propionate acts as an anti-inflammatory agent, salicylic acid helps soften and exfoliate the nail plate to improve drug penetration, tocopherol provides antioxidant protection and supports nail health, and panthenol acts as a moisturizing agent to improve nail hydration and flexibility.
