A combination therapy consisting of Tocovid SupraBio (a bioenhanced full spectrum palm tocotrienol complex) and pentoxifylline. This combination was investigated for treating long-term gastrointestinal adverse effects following pelvic radiotherapy for cancer. Preclinical data suggested that combined gamma-tocotrienol with pentoxifylline could ameliorate radiotherapy-induced gastrointestinal damage. The treatment regimen consisted of Tocovid SupraBio 200 mg and pentoxifylline 400 mg, both taken orally twice daily.
