Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**TOL19-001** is a multi-ingredient oral dietary supplement marketed by Labrha as **Cicatendon** and subsequently as **Tenofort** for tendon health and tendinopathy. The capsule formulation contains spirulina, D-glucosamine sulfate, horsetail extract, ginseng, selenium, vitamin E, ferrous gluconate, and zinc gluconate. In cultured tendon-cell models exposed to interleukin-1β or ciprofloxacin, TOL19-001 reduced prostaglandin E2 production, matrix metalloproteinase expression, and type III collagen-associated changes, consistent with a broad anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect rather than a defined single-target pharmacologic mechanism. Published clinical evidence includes an observational survey in patients with long-term tendinopathy; randomized controlled studies were stated to be needed.
