tolmetin

Tolmetin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat mild to moderate pain and relieve symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in children aged two years and older. It works primarily by inhibiting prostaglandin synthetase (cyclooxygenase), thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins that mediate inflammation, pain, and fever.
