Overview
Tongluo Qutong is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) topical preparation, specifically an ointment, developed as a hospital preparation (院内制剂) by the Gansu Province Second People's Hospital. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of pain associated with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. The formulation is designed to unblock collaterals and resolve stasis to alleviate musculoskeletal and neurological pain. As a hospital-developed preparation, it is used to improve local blood circulation and reduce inflammatory responses around affected nerve roots, thereby mitigating radicular pain symptoms.
