Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Toripalimab + endostar is a combination therapy consisting of toripalimab (a PD-1 inhibitor) and endostar (recombinant human endostatin). This combination has been investigated primarily for the treatment of locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (LA-NPC), particularly in high-risk patients. Clinical trials have shown that when added to induction chemotherapy followed by concurrent chemoradiotherapy (IC-CCRT), this combination significantly improved progression-free survival (PFS) compared to standard treatment. The combination works through dual mechanisms: toripalimab enhances anti-tumor immune responses by blocking the PD-1 pathway, while endostar inhibits angiogenesis.
