Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TORL-2-307-ADC is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by TORL Biotherapeutics for the treatment of advanced cancers, including adenocarcinoma, gastrointestinal cancer, pancreatic cancer, and esophageal cancer. The drug consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tumor-associated antigen overexpressed in certain cancers, conjugated to the cytotoxic payload monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). Upon binding to CLDN18.2-expressing tumor cells and internalization, MMAE is released intracellularly to inhibit tubulin polymerization and induce cell death in targeted cancer cells[1][3][6][8]. The drug is currently being evaluated in phase 1 clinical trials.
