TORL-2-307-MAB is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that specifically targets and inhibits Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein overexpressed in certain cancers such as gastric and pancreatic cancer. By binding to CLDN18.2 on tumor cells, the antibody may induce cell death and inhibit tumor proliferation through immune-mediated mechanisms[1][3][4]. It is being developed by TORL Biotherapeutics for the treatment of various advanced solid tumors including gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma, and other gastrointestinal malignancies[4][5]. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials in the United States and South Korea[4][5].
