Overview

Totipro Postbiotics PE0401 is a mixed postbiotic ingredient developed by Glac Biotech Co., Ltd. It is a lactic acid bacteria fermentate produced by fermenting, heating, and drying four specific probiotic strains: *Lactobacillus salivarius* AP-32, *Lactobacillus plantarum* LPL28, *Bifidobacterium longum* BLI-02, and *Lactobacillus acidophilus* TYCA06. As a postbiotic, it consists of non-viable microorganisms and their metabolic byproducts rather than live bacteria. The ingredient is designed to improve intestinal health and support the immune system by modulating the gut microbiome, reducing oxidative stress, and enhancing the intestinal barrier through the upregulation of tight junction proteins such as ZO-1, ZO-2, Occludin, JAM-A, and Claudin. It is marketed as a health functional food ingredient for conditions including chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), constipation, bloating, and diarrhea. Totipro Postbiotics PE0401 was recognized with the NutraIngredients Asia Award 2023 in the Microbiome Modulation category.
