tozorakimab

Tozorakimab is a high-affinity human monoclonal antibody that targets and neutralizes interleukin-33 (IL-33), a broad-acting epithelial "alarmin" cytokine implicated in inflammatory and immune responses. By inhibiting IL-33, tozorakimab aims to reduce inflammation associated with respiratory diseases. It is being developed primarily for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and severe viral lung infections requiring supplemental oxygen. Tozorakimab has also been investigated in other conditions such as asthma, atopic dermatitis, diabetic kidney disease, and COVID-19 infections. The drug is administered subcutaneously for COPD and intravenously for acute viral lung infections[1][3][4][5][10].
