**Tozorakimab + dapagliflozin** is a combination investigational therapy consisting of tozorakimab, a monoclonal antibody designed to neutralize the cytokine interleukin-33 (IL-33), and dapagliflozin, a sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitor primarily used for diabetes and chronic kidney disease. Tozorakimab is developed for the treatment of diabetic kidney disease, among other inflammatory and respiratory conditions, with the intent of addressing renal inflammation and damage by targeting IL-33 pathways[5][13][8]. Dapagliflozin acts by inhibiting SGLT2 in the renal proximal tubule, reducing glucose reabsorption and exerting renal and cardiovascular protective effects. The combination is studied for the potential additive or synergistic effect on renal outcomes in diabetic kidney disease[5].
