Overview

TP-317 (also known as STB-317) is an oral small molecule therapy developed by Thetis Pharmaceuticals. It is a stabilized analog or derivative of Resolvin E1 (RvE1), a specialized pro-resolving mediator (SPM) derived from omega-3 fatty acids. TP-317 is designed to promote the resolution of inflammation and restore immune homeostasis by acting as an agonist of the BLT1 receptor (Leukotriene B4 receptor 1). By targeting the LTB4-BLT1 pathway, it aims to address unmet needs in chronic inflammatory conditions such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, as well as in solid tumor cancers. The drug has completed a Phase 1a study in healthy volunteers and is progressing into Phase 1b trials for ulcerative colitis.
