TP20

TP20 is a preclinical-stage small molecule drug candidate being developed by ATXA Therapeutics for the treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases, including Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). It functions as a highly selective antagonist of the thromboxane receptor (TP). The thromboxane receptor pathway is a critical regulator of several physiological and pathological processes, including platelet aggregation, vascular smooth muscle constriction, and cellular proliferation. By antagonizing this receptor, TP20 aims to mitigate the disease processes that lead to vascular remodeling and increased pulmonary arterial pressure. TP20 is part of a pipeline of TP antagonists developed by ATXA, which includes their lead clinical candidate NTP42.
