TPF-D is an enteral nutrition emulsion developed by the Emergency Department of Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical College and Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical College. It is currently being investigated for its effects on blood glucose levels and prognosis in patients with stress hyperglycemia. Additionally, it is being studied for its effectiveness in patients with chronic wounds and diabetes. A related formulation, TPF-DM, is described as a high-fat, high-energy, low-carbohydrate enteral complete nutrition preparation, suitable for cancer patients, containing ω-3 fatty acids, vitamins A, C, E, and dietary fiber to support immune function, enhance resistance, and maintain gastrointestinal health.
