Overview

TPIV110 is a therapeutic peptide vaccine comprising class I and II HER2/neu peptides designed to elicit both CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell responses against HER2/neu-expressing tumor cells. Developed using PolyStart and TAP technology, the vaccine targets HER2/neu-positive cancers, primarily breast cancer and ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). It is intended to function as an immunotherapy, either alone or in combination with other agents such as trastuzumab. Initial development and preclinical studies were undertaken by Mayo Clinic, with clinical and commercial development advanced by TapImmune (now Marker Therapeutics).
