Overview

TPM501 is an experimental nanoparticle-based immunotherapy being developed by Topas Therapeutics for the treatment of celiac disease. It is built on Topas’ Topas Particle Conjugates platform, which uses polymer-coated nanoparticles conjugated with disease-relevant antigens to induce antigen-specific immune tolerance via uptake by liver sinusoidal endothelial cells, thereby modulating pathogenic T-cell responses in autoimmune conditions such as celiac disease.[11][13] Publicly available pipeline disclosures describe TPM501 as an earlier celiac disease program on this platform that was subsequently superseded by TPM502, which has advanced clinically, while TPM501 itself has been discontinued in development.[5][9][13]
