Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TPST-001 is a preclinical, in vivo chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by Tempest Therapeutics for the treatment of non-B-cell hematologic malignancies. It is built on Tempest's proprietary CD7-targeted lipid nanoparticle (CD7-tLNP) platform, which is designed to deliver nucleoside-modified mRNA directly to both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells within the body. This in vivo approach bypasses the need for ex vivo cell collection, engineering, and reinfusion, aiming to improve manufacturing scalability, reduce production costs, and enable broader T-cell engagement and repeat dosing.
