Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TPST-002 is a preclinical-stage in vivo chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy being developed by Tempest Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapy is built on Tempest's proprietary CD7-targeted mRNA lipid nanoparticle (CD7-tLNP) platform, which is engineered to deliver CAR-encoding mRNA directly to both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in vivo. By targeting CD7, the delivery system facilitates rapid cellular internalization and transient CAR expression, bypassing the complex ex vivo manufacturing and lymphodepletion conditioning required for conventional autologous CAR-T therapies. TPST-002 is designed to target undisclosed tumor-associated antigens to treat various solid tumors.
