Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**TPST-2206** is a preclinical dual-targeting CAR-T cell therapy designed to target CD70 with a dual CD70/CD70 construct, developed initially by Factor Bioscience, Inc. and acquired by Tempest Therapeutics. It modulates CD70, a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily overexpressed in various solid tumors including renal cell carcinoma, and is being positioned for oncology applications, particularly renal cell carcinoma. As an autologous CAR-T therapy, it engineers patient T cells to express chimeric antigen receptors specific for CD70, aiming to induce potent antitumor activity while potentially mitigating antigen escape through dual targeting.[3][8][11]
