TPX-114 is an autologous cell therapy developed for the treatment of tendon injuries, specifically rotator cuff tears. The therapy involves injecting a patient's own fibroblasts into ruptured tendons to induce the expression of tendon tissue components and growth factors, thereby promoting repair and regeneration of injured tendon tissues. If approved, it would be the first cell-based therapeutic agent for tendon regeneration. Phase 3 clinical trials have been approved in South Korea, with studies conducted at Seoul National University Hospital and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital[7][3].
