Overview

TPX-115 is an allogeneic dermal-derived fibroblast cell therapy developed by Tego Science for the treatment of partial-thickness rotator cuff tears. It is administered via intra-tendinous injection and aims to promote tendon repair in patients who have not responded to conservative treatments. The therapy utilizes allogeneic fibroblasts, which are intended to replace or support damaged tissue, potentially improving structural and functional outcomes in rotator cuff injuries. Clinical trials have progressed through phase 1/2 in Korea and are currently in phase 2b/3, with a U.S. FDA-approved phase 2 trial underway[1][3][4][7].
