Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TQ-1002 is an experimental *in vivo* chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by TQ Therapeutics for the treatment of infectious diseases. The therapy utilizes TQ Therapeutics' proprietary EXiVO platform, which is designed to deliver genetic material directly to T cells within the patient's body, thereby generating CAR-T cells *in situ*. This approach aims to overcome the logistical and manufacturing challenges associated with traditional *ex vivo* CAR-T therapies. While the specific molecular target and the particular infectious disease indication have not been disclosed, TQ-1002 is intended to leverage the immune system to identify and clear pathogens or infected cells. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
