Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TQ-1005 is an experimental *in vivo* CAR-T cell therapy being developed by TQ Therapeutics for longevity-related indications. Utilizing the company's proprietary EXiVO platform, the therapy is designed to generate chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells directly within the patient's body to target and eliminate CD57-expressing cells. CD57 is a carbohydrate epitope often used as a marker for senescent or terminally differentiated cells, which accumulate with age and contribute to chronic inflammation and tissue dysfunction. By clearing these senescent cells, TQ-1005 aims to promote healthy aging and extend longevity. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
