Overview
TQ-1015 is an abuse-deterrent, once-daily extended-release formulation of a strong opioid analgesic developed by TheraQuest Biosciences for the treatment of chronic pain. It utilizes the proprietary SECUREL technology, which is designed to make the medication highly resistant to common methods of tampering, such as crushing, chewing, or dissolution for injection, thereby minimizing its abuse potential. TQ-1015 is reported to be significantly more potent than many current oral therapies, including morphine and oxycodone. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) accepted its Investigational New Drug (IND) application for clinical development.
