Overview

TQ-1019 is an investigational, highly selective small molecule inhibitor of phosphoinositide 3-kinase delta (PI3Kδ) developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group. PI3Kδ is an enzyme predominantly expressed in hematopoietic cells and plays a critical role in the proliferation, survival, and activation of B-cells. By inhibiting this isoform, TQ-1019 disrupts B-cell receptor signaling and is being evaluated for the treatment of various B-cell malignancies, including relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphoma. Additionally, it is under investigation for myelofibrosis, where PI3Kδ signaling is implicated in the pathogenesis of the disease and constitutional symptoms. The drug is currently in Phase II clinical development in China.
