Overview

TQ-B3525 is a novel, selective, orally administered small molecule inhibitor that targets the alpha and delta isoforms of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3Kα/δ). It acts by binding to and inhibiting PI3Kα and PI3Kδ, thereby blocking activation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway involved in cell proliferation and survival. This mechanism is particularly relevant in hematologic malignancies such as follicular lymphoma. Developed in China, TQ-B3525 has demonstrated promising efficacy and manageable safety profiles in patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma (R/R FL) after at least two prior lines of therapy. The drug is also being investigated for other lymphomas (including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma), non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer, and advanced solid tumors[1][2][4][6][7].
