Overview

A combination therapy of **TQ-B3525**, an oral, selective dual phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase alpha/delta (PI3Kα/δ) inhibitor, and **osimertinib**, an oral third-generation, irreversible epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) primarily targeting activating EGFR mutations and the T790M resistance mutation. TQ-B3525 targets PI3Kα and PI3Kδ, key enzymes in the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway implicated in cancer cell proliferation and survival, and is under investigation for multiple cancers including follicular lymphoma, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and others. Osimertinib inhibits EGFR with sensitizing mutations and T790M, blocking EGFR signaling and cell survival pathways, and is approved for NSCLC with specific EGFR mutations. Both are administered orally and may be used in combination to overcome resistance in EGFR-mutated cancers, particularly NSCLC.
