Overview

TQ-F3083 is a highly selective, orally administered small molecule inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), developed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). As a DPP-4 inhibitor, it works by increasing active glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) concentrations, thereby promoting insulin secretion and improving glycemic control. Preclinical studies demonstrated favorable pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution, with metabolism primarily mediated by CYP450 enzymes—especially CYP3A. Clinical trials have shown that TQ-F3083 is generally well tolerated in healthy volunteers and patients with type 2 diabetes[1][2][5][6].
