TQB2029 is a bispecific antibody designed to target both G Protein-Coupled Receptor, Class C, Group 5, Member D (GPRC5D) and Cluster of Differentiation 3 (CD3). Its mechanism of action involves recruiting and activating T cells via CD3 engagement to induce cytotoxicity against malignant plasma cells expressing GPRC5D. This dual targeting approach aims to enhance anti-tumor immune responses in multiple myeloma by facilitating direct tumor cell killing through immune cell activation. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of multiple myeloma and is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials in China[1][4][7].
