Overview
TQB2450 is a novel humanized immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) monoclonal antibody that targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), blocking its interaction with PD-1 and CD80, thereby activating T cells and enhancing antitumor immune responses. It is developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group. Cisplatin and carboplatin are platinum-based chemotherapy agents that cause DNA crosslinking, leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing cancer cells. 5-fluorouracil is a pyrimidine analog that inhibits thymidylate synthase, disrupting DNA synthesis in cancer cells. The combination of these agents aims to leverage both immune checkpoint inhibition and cytotoxic chemotherapy for enhanced efficacy against advanced malignant tumors[1][2][5][8].
