Overview

TQB2868 is a bifunctional fusion protein under clinical development for the treatment of advanced malignant tumors, including hepatocellular carcinoma and metastatic pancreatic cancer. It targets both programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta), acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor and a neutralizer of immunosuppressive signals in the tumor microenvironment. By blocking PD-1-mediated signaling and neutralizing TGF-beta, TQB2868 aims to restore cytotoxic lymphocyte activity, enhance immune response against tumors, inhibit tumor proliferation, and overcome resistance mechanisms associated with immunosuppression[1][2][4][5].
