Overview

TQB2934 is a bispecific antibody that targets both B cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and CD3. It is designed to bind BCMA on the surface of malignant plasma cells (such as those in multiple myeloma) and CD3 on cytotoxic T lymphocytes. This dual binding redirects and activates cytotoxic T cells to recognize and kill BCMA-expressing tumor cells through the release of granzyme and perforin, leading to targeted cell death. The molecule has an IgG1 backbone with a 2+1 format—bivalent for BCMA and monovalent for CD3—and is being developed primarily for the treatment of relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma[1][2][3][5][6].
