Overview

TQB3107 is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of the B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCL-2) protein, developed by Chia Tai-Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group. BCL-2 is a pro-survival member of the BCL-2 family of proteins that regulates apoptosis; its overexpression is a common mechanism by which tumor cells evade programmed cell death. By selectively binding to and inhibiting BCL-2, TQB3107 restores the apoptotic signaling pathway, leading to the death of cancer cells. It is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials for the treatment of advanced malignant tumors, including hematologic malignancies such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), as well as solid tumors.
