Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TQB3142 is a small molecule inhibitor of B-cell lymphoma-extra large (Bcl-xL), an anti-apoptotic member of the Bcl-2 protein family. Bcl-xL is frequently overexpressed in various cancers, where it prevents programmed cell death and contributes to chemoresistance. By selectively binding to and inhibiting Bcl-xL, TQB3142 triggers apoptosis in susceptible malignant cells. Developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group, the drug is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation for the treatment of advanced malignant tumors, both as a monotherapy and potentially in combination regimens to overcome resistance to other therapies.
